CONTEST!
That's right, we're having a little contest of geekdom and vintage knowledge.

After a very silly conversation regarding classic cartoons and gaming genres, and then the two combined. We ended up with Crinos Thunder Cats from the World of Darkness. In fact, we came up with a few gems, but then thought, why keep all the fun to ourselves?

So we're asking everyone who reads the comic and would be interested to sumbit an odd combination. 1 cartoon or possibly geek movie + a game system, and only 2 submissions per person. :) Send it to us at deathbydice@gmail.com, or reply here with your submission.

On August 25, we'll post the five best we find, and take a poll. Then you, dear readers, get to choose which three take 1st second and 3rd place. The 2nd and third place winners will get their drawn in DbD fashion, in black and white and they get a print, and 1st place gets full color and a print of their very own. (Yes, your name or net nick will appear next to the drawing.)

Disclaimers:

1 Poke-thuhlu has been done. It's not a valid submission, because I've done it many times and I'm tired of it!
2 Be prepared to explain the basics and flavour of any system if for some reason neither of us has heard of it.

On your Mark... get set... wait for it... GEEK!

J.M. Barrie, author of "Peter Pan" is a Malkavian in London, embracing children so they can "live forever and never grow old", and teaching them that if they only believe hard enough, they can do anything. (Watch "Finding Neverland in this context, it makes it so very amusing)

The Justice League: Marauders from Old World of Darkness: Mage. They cavort about the town forcing their insane hallucinations upon the unwitting townfolk, forcing them to play the roles of cops, robbers, damsels in distress, and evil masterminds. (This is from an actual Mage game...hilarity ensued)

I wonder, why is there so many WoD references?

Because a ton of our friends are Cammies, and that's all they play. :)
